About

Hello, my name is Emma.

Welcome to A Bunch Of Wild, a seasonal photo journal of flowers and nature.

I grow beautiful flowers in my cottage garden in Bedfordshire. My chickens eat the slugs and the ladybirds eat the greenfly so everyone is happy. I’m often in my greenhouse with a cold cup of tea, and Purdey my beagle by my feet. I just love growing and arranging flowers that have a wonderful scent and twist and bend in the vase! My floral creations are very loose and informal and I plan carefully for the seasons so there is usually something flowering from April till November!  I’m also mad on foraged foliage which makes a very seasonal and sustainable display of blooms capturing a delightful wildness. My background is in interiors and styling, and I find florals play a key part in finishing a look! I adore vintage zinc and faded floral linens, romantic roses and buckets of cow parsley.

My garden is both the inspiration and tools of my trade. I style flowers for photography, press them into clay to make one off ceramic pieces and paint florals and contemporary landscapes in oils and acrylics. I also make wild wreath sculptures out of foraged and found pieces that i’ve either picked up on my walks with the dog or things I have grown in my garden. I love to make something out of nature, the textures are just so wonderful and no two things are ever the same.

You can find my one off floral pieces at the beautiful gift shop Minchin and May in Woburn, it is run by two lovely sisters! Well worth a visit!

You can see my full collection of ceramics, paintings and vintage homeware here.

I am currently not booking workshops from my home but if you have an event and would like me to attend I can offer workshops on vintage styling and phone photography. For collaborations please get in touch.
