Seasonal slow living and botanically inspired creativity.

Hello my dear friends,

Today’s post is a reflection of the past couple of weeks at A Bunch Of Wild hq. After finishing our pop-up store in Ampthill early February we’ve been working round the clock to arrange workshops, farmers markets and our open studio at the end of the month. We’re even negotiating our next pop-up store in Hitchin! I tell you, my feet haven’t touched the ground. So this week it was nice to just slow down a bit and gather… quite literally as I’ve been doing lots of leisurely walks collecting early blossom. The pic above is a mixture of our garden flowers, some foraged blossom and a few wholesale blooms. Created for a friends mum and used as a styling prop for some promotional pics for the farmers market.

I finally found time this week to sow some seeds and catch up with my animals. I’ve just started waking up the dahlias too.

And we finished off the week doing a creative workshop in front of the fire.

I had four lovely ladies attend my botanical ceramic plate making workshop, they made a total of 3 plates each with details from the garden pressed into the clay. It was wonderfully therapeutic and such a lovely way to spend a wet wintery morning.

I still have 2 places left for this workshop on the 26th of March, please see the online shop for further details.

I’m now looking forward to a few days off before I start to get ready for our first pop-up flower stall of the year! You can find us at Woburn farmers market every third Sunday of the month.

Enjoy your weekend.

Emma x
